Between the Tides explores the changing rhythm of England’s South Coast, where exposed shoreline, chalk cliffs and distant vessels create layers of scale from foreground to horizon.
The vertical composition gives the photograph a strong sense of depth, while the calm natural palette keeps the image quiet and atmospheric.
It is a photograph about transition, the moment between one tide and the next, when the landscape briefly reveals a different version of itself.
